HOW IT GOT STARTED

It all started around a campfire at my family's house in the PNW with warmth on my toes, and wine in my hand...  

Their encouragement for us to try blogging about all of our family adventures, our minimalist van conversion, and our love for the beauty all around us finally took hold and inspired me to create this site.

As with any adventure, it all starts with the first step... So here we are, one step into the unknown.
